Thoughts on Today's Special Election for HD 146

I have met all of the candidates running to fill the House District 146 seat vacated by outgoing Majority Leader Larry O'Neal. I actually worked with Larry Walker, III, managing the business that managed his website for two and a half years. During that time I found Larry to be very professional, likable, and open to  suggestions on how to improve his website when I offered them.

I don't know Shaw Blackmon and Kelly Burke the same way, but I know Kelly holds a lot of the same limited government views I hold, particularly with regard to the 2nd Amendment. While I know the least about Shaw's positions, he is also very personable and has a good team supporting him.

All in all, any of these gentlemen would be fine representatives for House District 146, each with their own pros and cons, which is why I have mostly been quiet about the special election. None of these gentlemen are what I would call 'Liberty' minded, however. That fact will probably please a lot of people, unfortunately.
